First day :)

27th July 2009

FINALLY! My first day of my first semester in Curtin University :) My Marketing 100 class starts at 9am, and I woke up like 6 in the morning =.= crazy right? I took 15 min to shower, another 30 min to cook, eat, and wash dishes, and another 30 min trying to figure out whether to do the laundry or not (coz my housemate's laundry is in the washing machine) I don't know whether to take it out or not, so in the end I leave it there, and off I go to the bus stop. I went out from my house at around 7.20am (coz I thought the bus would arrive on time at 7.42am) but I was wrong =.= It took me around 5 to 10 mins to walk to the bus stop and I spend another 15 min waiting for the bus *kill me*

It was a nice morning, but it was just too cold, I barely can feel my fingers, in the end the bus arrive at 7.52am -.- and I went down from the bus at one of the stops and wait for another bus, and Yep! I had to wait another 10 mins in the cold ... yet again. Guess what? I thought Perth would never have traffic jam. The bus was caught in a traffic jam, so it took me another 20 to 30 mins to reach the University, even though its quite near.

When I finally reach Uni ... I kinda got lost a lil and use a very loOoOOng way to get to the Lecture Hall (Why the heck is Curtin so big?!)

Anyways, I didn't really make any friends today :( I'm really bad at making friends

After class, I went to the bookshop (which is crazily far) to search for marketing text book, and it is CRAZILY priced at $100++, there's no way I'm going to get it! So off I go to the second hand book shop (did I mention I got lost?) Well I had to make a few phone calls, asking where is the second hand bookstore, haha! But they don't have the text book that I want.

So, I guess I'll be searching online for the book then :P

P/S: Sorry for the boring post, I just don't have much inspiration recently. Have a nice day everyone :)

go to the business building in curtin. inside there are notice boards, ppl put their textbooks on sale and its usually cheaper than the 2nd hand book shop.

cuz the 2nd hand book shop they take 10% or 20% commission, so its more exp.

good luck looking for ur books. if u need help pls tell me, cuz all ur 100 units my friends and i took before and some of them still have the textbook. so give me a ring or text me anyday my dear :)
