"The Last Lecture"

Never in my lifetime that I finished a book in a day, to be exact, less than 24 hours ...

This book has to be the best book that I've read so far that I manage to finish it up in less than a day (I usually took 2 weeks)

I laugh and I cried throughout the process of reading this book ... and towards the end, I can't control my tears that I just let it flow ...

I asked myself what was my childhood dream? I don't remember any of it, to be honest with you ...

But I certainly know what is my dream now ... My dream is to graduate at University of Swinburne and hopefully could stay at Australia for the rest of my life with dear dear ^^

I love reading this kind of books, it gives us the first hand experience of what other people have been through and it teaches you a thing or two about life ... I'm glad I always made the right decision when it comes to purchasing books. I will keep this book for as long as I live ..

Most of the people around me, don't share this passion about this kind of books, with me ... they usually rather do anything else than to bury themselves into a novel. They'd say that it's boring. But I'll say, they miss a great book and a great life experience.

Randy Pausch with his family

I'll let you guys get this book yourself and read it on your own. It's worth every penny =)

So go to the nearest bookstore and get one yourself ^^

"The Last Lecture" by Randy Pausch and Jeffery Zaslow

Hoping that Randy Pausch is doing fine now. And I wish him the best of luck =)

Toast bread with egg and mayonnaise

This is another bread recipe, hope it works though, coz sometimes this recipe might fail coz the eggs is not cooked enough ...

You need =>
  • Bread
  • Eggs
  • Mayonnaise

Okay, first you need to put mayonnaise on the border of the bread [I mean the side of the bread, four sides of it] make sure you corner it out in a perfect square shape [I'll explain later why you have to do that] You can actually use pastry bag, or you can use a plastic bag, cut the bottom part then you can use it to put the mayonnaise on the bread perfectly

Here's a pic of pastry bag, just in case if you don't know what is it

Then you crack the egg into the middle of the bread (it might spill out a lil, coz the egg it not yet cooked and it's watery) that is why I said you have to make sure that you have to corner it out in a perfect square shape, to prevent the egg from spilling out ..

Then you put the bread into the toaster oven, let it toast inside the oven for about 5-8 minutes, make sure you keep a watch out for it, so that the bread won't be "hangus" [burnt] ... it could happen though, just be careful bout that, and also make sure the egg it properly cook [it can be a lil watery, but not too watery like you just crack it out from the egg shell]

After all that trouble, you can serve it ^^

It's not as complicated as it seems, but the tricky part is cooking it to the perfection ... this is another recipe by my mom ..

Will post pics when I have it ^^

Baked Beans with Toast

Okay! This recipe is super easy and super nice, my mom made this for me a while ago ^^

All you need is =>
  • Small can of baked beans
  • Bread
  • Butter
  • Garlic (optional)
  • Cooking oil (optional)

Okay, you just have to spread butter on the slice of bread, put it into toaster oven to toast.

(Simple Version)
And as for the baked beans, pour the whole can of baked beans into the pan, let it cooked for a while before you put in the egg and let the cook. Then you can serve it with the toasted bread ^^

(Not so simple version [ma huan version])
Heat up the pan with the cooking oil in it, fried the garlic a lil, then pour in the can of baked beans in, let it cook for a while, before cracking in the egg. Then you can serve it with the bread once it's cooked ^^

P/S: You can actually add some salt/sugar/pepper to taste. Be creative, doesn't have to follow everything here =) Will add pics when I have one

Dry Maggi Noodles

Hmm, since my dear dear keeps asking me on what to cook to eat ... I might as well write down some of the recipe (that she might not even try out) but never mind ... I still write it down, just in case she wants it ^^

Fried Dry Maggi Noodles

1 packet of Maggi Noodles (any flavour, brands of noodles you want, doesn't matter, you can even use bee hoon)i
1 teaspoon of Garlic (you can put as much as you want, I like garlic, so I put in a lot)
1 teaspoon of MSG
2 teaspoon of Sugar
small amount of cooking oil
one cup of water
2 tablespoon of soy sauce

First you would have to heat up the pan, with the oil in it of course, then cook/fried (or whatever word you use, you get what I mean right?) the garlic, when it turns a lil brownish, turn off the gas for a while, let it cool down for a minute or two before you put in the water (one full cup that is) ... coz you don't want the hot oil to go all over the place, hot and cold doesn't mix well, haha!

Then you turn the gas back on, after you pour in the water, then you can throw in the packet Maggi Noodles (without the packing of course DO NOT throw in with the plastic packing OK??!!)

After that, let the noodles cook for a while, then you put in 2 tablespoon of soy sauce (or as much as you like, just don't make it too salty, bad for kidney, 2 tablespoon will be good enough though), 1 teaspoon of MSG (if you don't want to put MSG, then it's fine) 2 teaspoon of sugar, then bring it to boil. Keep stirring it till it almost dry out and becomes dry noodle, and there you have it, your Fried Dry Maggi Noodles.

I shouldn't have called it Fried Noodles, as I didn't exactly fry it ... should be called Dry Maggi Noodles, hehe! Anyways, enjoy!

P/S: I'll post up pictures of it, if I can finally finds it ^^

PP/S: This recipe is taught by my dad ^^

Just another day ^^

I was just looking around those celebrity gossips blog and came across an article that says Ellen Degeneres and Portia are getting married. For those that are clueless, they're both women.

Just last Thursday, the California Supreme Court ruled out that same sex couple have to rights to get married. Well, if I'm not mistaken I think it's only in the State of California.

Anyways, most of the comments on the website are congratulating her, but there are of course some that is against the same sex marriage thingy. But then again, who are they to decide whether it's wrong or right to have same sex couple walking down the aisle.

LGBT are humans, they have two eyes, ears, a nose and a mouth, they look like anyone of us, and they probably knows about love more than the heterosexual do. I just don't understand why people are against it. When you love a person, doesn't matter, if he/she is short/tall, fat/skinny, man/women, ugly/good looking ... don't judge.

I don't know if it will be better to date a guy or a girl, but I'm happy the way I am right now. I think that if people walk in the shoes of LGBT people for a day, they would understand how it feels to be them. Most of the time, it's not their choice to be born this way. At least they're true to themselves. I like people being honest with their feelings and just being themselves. We're human in general. So if you are a human, act like one and don't judge, coz no one is perfect.

Anyways, just last night, I went to Gurney Plaza and came home with a book called "The Last Lecture" by Randy Pausch and Jeffery Zaslow ... although I just read a few pages out of it, I could sense it is a great book, hopefully I'll finish it up and let you guys know about it ^^

16th May 2008

Dear dear!!!

Happy 20th Birthday!!!

It's my dear dear's 20th birthday today, but unfortunately I can't be by my dear dear's side to celebrate her big 20 birthday ... although I wanted so much to be by her side ...

Stupid me ... I sent of a box a pressie to my dear dear, last Friday, and it reached yesterday, which is 15th of May, but there's two things that I forgot *darn* stupid me!

First, I forgot to take pictures of the things and the box that I sent =.= (this is like so bad, now I don't hv pics to post up)

Second of all, I forgot to sent something, no thanks to my mom =.=

But I'm super glad that it reached just on time (coz it seems that my dear dear don't accept things that reach late =.=), so thank you Pos Malaysia! That was like the best thing you've ever done for me! Sending the pressie to dear dear right on time! Kudos!

Anyways, I accompany dear dear till 12 am (Malaysian Time), which is about 2 am (Sydney, Australian Time) ... Her friends celebrated with her when the clock struck 12 am (Sydney, Australian Time) and I celebrated with dear dear 12 am (Malaysian Time) ... when it was 12 am, I wish my dear dear Happy 20th Birthday, and sang her an english version of "Birthday Song" ... ask her to make 3 wishes (I thought she was going to wish for world peace, keke) But she ain't running for Miss World, so forget about it, haha!

Then after making wish, she told me that I was singing the birthday song, too softly, so she ask me to sing again, this time it's the chinese version of the "Birthday Song" .... I think that was like my first attempt in singing birthday song in chinese ... It was kinda bad, just don't ever try to imagine me singing (you will faint, drop dead, and get admitted into intensive unit all in the same day if you ever hear me sing)

I promise dear dear that I will make it up to you once you're back here ... Hopefully I can come up with something special ^^

But if that something special is not special at all, then I'm sorry dear dear =(

Dear, I just want you to know that you're the best thing that ever happened in my life ... I love you <3

Just Love it!

Its been a crazy week, dealing with crazy schedule and b*tch ... well, the it's not exactly a hectic schedule, but it's a crazy ones alright ... I have like classes on Saturdays, and on weekdays, I'd have like, sometimes, one hour class ONLY!!!

But hey, life won't be interesting without these stuff *hint* I mean the "thing" that starts with "b" and not "s", haha! I call that entertaining =)

But if you put the "b" and "s" together, b + s = bs, which by the way means bullsh*t, and VOILA! I've solved another equation!

Pity dear dear had to deal with "it", "it" as in a human which I don't respect =)

Well, in English speaking world, let me tell you, the word "it" is referred to an object or maybe an animal. Well, since "it" deserve none of my respect, I might as well refer "it" as an it.

If I'm the one dealing with "it", I would probably stuck my 3 inch stiletto right to "it's" face, and scar "it's" face for life =) But hey, if it happens, it would be called a cat-fight *wink* But the stiletto thingy would only happen in my dream, haha!

But at least I won't be such a coward to ask someone else to bitch slapped a person that I "beh syok" or should I say "mess with me", I'd do it myself, coz it's such a COWARD thing to ask SOMEONE else in which you have some kind of connection with (I wonder what kind of connection? One night stand I suppose??) to help you settle your own business.

And by doing it yourself, you'll get a lot more satisfaction, this I GUARANTEE!

I wonder how "it" would settle MOI without EVERYBODY knowing that "it" is a LESBIAN, hey! Stay away from "it" alright (even if you're a girl or even infant =.=), "it" might just fall in love with you and dump you the next morning! BEWARE!

Anyways, I'm just too bored, wanting to improve my English, so I decided to blog out, and seemingly this "it" just messed with me yesterday, so lucky that "it", became the topic of the day =)

Oh well! That's it for today, if "it" mess with me again, "it" is gonna be in big trouble. =)
